Mother's Day is a day of appreciation and love. In honor of this day, our pastry team had a brilliant idea - create desserts inspired by each of their mothers. So sweet!

Above we have Angela's Mom, Clara and her Aunt Helen operating industrial mixers or at least pretending to (left).  The dessert inspired by Clara- our seasonal sorbet with fresh fruit (right).

Our Mother's Day Menu will look a little like this:

Eric, our Sous Pastry Chef, wanted to pay homage to his mother (pictured left) with a take on Black Forest Cake, one of her favorites. “The Little Debi Black Forest Cake” – flourless chocolate fudge cake, brandied cherries, creme fraiche cream.

“The Julie” aka “The Mom’s Bombe” is Brooke's inspiration for her mom's enjoyment of pina coladas and daiquiris - dulce de leche bombe with pineapple habanero compote and spiced pecans  (center left).

“The Susan” is April's nod to her adventurous mother with a Jasmine cremeux, buckwheat cake, honey comb and milk crumble (April and her mom center right).

Our extern Cheyenne came up with “The Lisa” a Spring berry pithivier with hazelnut frangipane and basil ice cream.  This classic French dessert is also a nod to Cheyenne's birthplace in France.  (Cheyenne, her mom and sister pictured right)

Although our pastry team will be hard at work on Mother's Day, with most of their mother's in different states, we want to wish them all a Happy Mother's Day!!!
