Situated in a prime location on the waterfront of San Francisco’s Embarcadero, Waterbar is one of the Bay Area’s premier dining destinations, serving the city’s finest seafood in an unparalleled atmosphere. We offer a daily menu of fresh-caught, sustainably sourced fish and shellfish—as well as the most expansive selection of oysters on the West Coast—set against spectacular panoramic views of the Bay Bridge, Treasure Island, and the San Francisco skyline.
Celebrate NYE at Waterbar!
Waterbar will serve a four-course pre-fixed menu for dinner, Chef Josh Su selected his favorite seasonal and celebratory offerings for the menu! $195 per person (exclusive of 20% gratuity, 6% SF mandates surcharge, and 8.625% sales tax). Beverages are charged on consumption.
We have two seatings available: the first seating from 5:45pm - 6:30pm with a 2.5 hour table time limit; and the second seating from 7:00pm - 9:00pm.

From celebratory dinners, to after-work happy hours, to receptions for up to 400 guests, Waterbar has a variety of indoor and outdoor spaces—all with stunning water views—to accommodate an array of party sizes and occasions. Our team works closely with every guest to customize their ideal experience, offering exceptional food and drinks, warm hospitality, and a breathtaking backdrop for any special event.
OysterFest 2025
Waterbar’s signature annual charity event, complete with live music, wine, food, and of course, plenty of oysters! All net proceeds are donated to a different local cause each year. The date will be determined Spring 2025.

Our dedication to the environment and community has many facets. We strive to ensure the highest standard of environmentally safe, sustainably sourced seafood from both local and international waters, respecting seasonality and the natural essence of the sea. Additionally, we have created programming such as our Oyster Give Back and Oysterfest as a means of raising funds to support a variety of local causes.

Located directly next door to Waterbar is our sister restaurant, EPIC Steak, which shares both our acclaimed Executive Chef Parke Ulrich, as well as the same stunning waterfront views. Both opened in 2008, Waterbar and EPIC Steak offer a playful land-and-sea culinary yin and yang. EPIC is a modern American steakhouse that showcases expertly prepared cuts of prime dry-aged meats, along with a selection of fresh-caught seafood, complemented by an extensive wine list and craft cocktails. EPIC also offers a variety of stunning private dining spaces and can serve as another excellent option for hosting your event.
