We love food. We change our menu seasonally, of course, but we change the menu daily because we have access to some of the freshest and best produce and product available locally. With the weather warming up and summer coming, our team in the kitchen is reaping the reward of being so close to the Ferry Building Farmer's Market.

Which brings me to a new menu item that is so beautiful you will have a hard time eating it. You will it eat, but admire it a lot before you do.

Chilled Yuba Noodle Salad- caviar, slow cooked egg, fava bean relish. Paddlefish caviar wild harvested from the Tennessee river.

Eric, our bee keeper, Purchasing Manager, and all around Mr. Fix It, went to the Farmer's Market yesterday for the Yuba that made these delicious Yuba noodles in the most beautiful salad. Yuba is the skin that forms on top of the soy milk when making tofu, fyi- it's good for you and is very versatile. The delicacy of the product takes a certain skill and patience to create any dish, but the effort is worth it when you create something like the above dish.
