Join March of Dimes, Waterbar and countless other San Francisco staples for the 2017 March of Dimes Signature Chefs, a benefit for babies, an event to raise funds for the campaign to end prematurity. This rare opportunity is made possible by participating chefs graciously donating their time and talent to create a food experience beyond any available at a single location in San Francisco. Each tasting is thoughtfully created to tantalize the palette of even the savviest “foodie” and highlight the chef’s unique and exceptional talents. Amidst a lively party atmosphere and exciting entertainment, guests will enjoy exquisite cuisine, spirited cocktails and enticing auction packages.

Waterbar Celebrates the Sea Urchin With The Ritz Half Moon Bay

The first-annual Half Moon Bay Sea Urchin Celebration will take place on The Ritz-Carlton, Half Moon Bay’s Mar Vista Lawn from 1 to 4 p.m.on Sunday, October 8, 2017. Tickets will go on sale on May 1, 2017(further details, including ticket price, to be announced at this time).

To celebrate the bounty of Half Moon Bay and pay tribute to this unique ocean delicacy, Northern California’s finest luxury oceanfront resort –The Ritz-Carlton, Half Moon Bay  is pleased to announce that it will host the first-ever Half Moon Bay Sea Urchin Celebration on Sunday, October 8, 2017. The event will lend attendees the opportunity to taste a number of sea urchin-centric dishes created by the resort’s own Chef de Cuisine, Jason Pringle, and a host of other renowned chefs from restaurants up and down the California Coast, all while sipping local beers and wines and enjoying bluff-top views of the Pacific Ocean. These celebrated chefs will face-off in creating the most original and delicious uni dish, and there will be both a Diner’s Choice and a Professional Choice winner.

In an effort to support the resort’s Community Footprints, a portion of the proceeds will benefit Project Open Hand, a nonprofit organization that provides meals with love to critically ill neighbors and seniors while helping them recover from illness, get stronger, and lead healthier lives.

Join The Watershed Project for an evening of celebration at Bubbles & Bivalves!

Bubbles & Bivalves is our annual fundraising event, bringing over 150 guests from the Bay Area community out for an evening of live music, engaging speakers, silent auction, oysters, wine tasting, and food from top Bay Area sustainable restaurants.

We are thrilled to have the opportunity to celebrate our two decades of growth and success with our community of volunteers, alumni, staff, neighbors, partners, and everyone who has made our mission of watershed protection and education possible.

This year, we are excited to dance the night away at the David Brower Center in Berkeley with local musicians and Bay Area environmental restoration and education leaders. All proceeds of the event go to support free STEM and nature-based classroom and field trip programs for 1,000 disadvantaged community students.
